The price on the site is the price in the driveway.

Questions

Before you book.

How does pricing work?

You pay for the space your junk takes up in our 15-cubic-yard truck, in fractions: an eighth is $119–$169, a quarter $199–$269, a half $329–$419, three quarters $449–$549 and a full truck $549–$679. Construction debris adds 15% and yard waste is 10% less. A few items carry a flat surcharge, such as $30 for a mattress. The crew confirms the exact price on site before lifting anything.

What is the cutoff for same-day pickup?

2 PM, Monday to Saturday. Book by then and the truck comes today, in a 2-hour arrival window. Requests after 2 PM get a next-day window. The dispatch line, (555) 555-0162, answers until 8 PM.

Do I need to be home?

Not if the items are outside or the crew can reach them, for example in a driveway, an open garage or with a building manager. The crew texts you a photo of the load with the exact price, you approve it by reply, and you pay by card over the phone. For anything inside a locked home, someone needs to let us in.

What if I change my mind when the crew arrives?

Then you pay nothing. The crew gives you the exact price before lifting anything. If it is not what you expected, or you decide to keep the sofa after all, say no and the truck leaves. You can also remove items from the load and the price is adjusted on the spot.

What can't you take?

Seven things, by law: paint and solvents, motor oil, pesticides, asbestos, propane tanks, medical waste and ammunition. The What we take page says where each one can go instead. For most of them that is the county hazardous-waste drop-off, held on the first Saturday of each month.

Can I get a receipt for donated items?

Yes, on request. Ask when you book or tell the crew on the day. Every load is sorted at our Depot Road yard, and once your usable furniture and housewares are dropped with a donation partner, we email you the receipt.
